Elizabeth P. Coburn

Elizabeth P. Coburn, 89, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in St. Lukes Hospital. She was born March 6, 1920 in Vicksburg, MI to Charles and Ione Milliman Porter. Elizabeth graduated from Western Michigan Univeristy with honors. She taught 20 years for Maumee Schools, retiring in 1981. The widow of Bruce Coburn who passed away in 1991, Elizabeth is survived by her children, John Coburn, James Linda Coburn, Elizabeth Wells and Thomas Coburn; niece, Candice Goad; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Martha Coburn; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Robert Driver and nephew, Michael Driver. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 200 East Broadway Street, Maumee.
