Elizabeth Ann Smith, age 91 years old, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.


Born on June 12, 1934, in Bandon, Indiana, Elizabeth was the daughter of Henry and Lula (Thiery) Rogier. On May 1, 1951, she married the love of her life, Donald Smith, and together they built a beautiful life centered on faith, family, and home.

Elizabeth was a devoted homemaker and was a longtime member of St. Rose Catholic Church, in Perrysburg. She had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, such as gardening, reading, puzzles, crocheting, and collecting antiques, were among her favorite pastimes. She also had a passion for travel, with cherished trips to Wyoming, Texas, and Florida, during the winter months. Elizabeth’s love for music was always present, especially her fondness for country music, and artists like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, and Neil Diamond.


Her legacy of love, warmth, and strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.


Elizabeth is survived by her beloved children, Linda (Joseph) Hamilton, Colleen (Jeff Frank) Weaver, Debbie (Ray) Pierce, and Lisa (Michael) Smith-Neverauskas; grandchildren, Salina (Pierce) Wagner, Sam (Kim) Weaver, Tonia Davies Weaver, Stacy (Mike) Ibe, Wendy (Chris) Rock, Scott (Miranda) Weaver, Ray (Candice) Pierce, Rachel (Ricardo) Cruz, Audras (Lukas) Kampe, and Lidija Neverauskas; 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lula Rogier; husband, Donald Smith; sisters, Hilda Steiner, Helen Wynn, Naomi Wagner and Norma Lee Kummerer; and one brother, Earl Rogier.


All services will be held privately. Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg, Ohio, has been entrusted with all services.
