Elemuel Stephen Spurgeon

Elemuel Stephen Spurgeon Steve, age 74, passed away Sunday January 21, 2018 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital. The son of Bennett and Mary Spurgeon, he was born April 12, 1943 in Woodville, OH. Steve owned and operated Steves Automotive. He enjoyed riding his scooter and if you came to visit you better bring a snack because he enjoyed eating. He absolutely loved Christmas time and all the music associated with Christmas. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Steve Spurgeon, Tammy (Mark) Stetten; daughter-in-law, Tricia Spurgeon; step daughter, Joyce (Lloyd) Ritenour; sister Violet Vi Ferguson; grandchildren, Heather, Jared, Tyler, Tim, Matt, Brandon, Aaron; and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Spurgeon. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 2-8 PM at Walker Funeral Home 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey rd) where services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM.
