Eleanor Rock

Eleanor L. Rock, age 88, of Genoa, Ohio passed away at Genoa Care Center on February 12, 2013. Eleanor was born on December 12, 1924 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Earl and Lois Geren McFall. A 1943 graduate of Bowling Green High School, she was employed by Hillcrest Hotel as a banquet waitress. Eleanor enjoyed ballroom dancing, was an avid bingo and cards player and loved to shoot pool. She was treasurer for Solo Parents and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bud Lite Pool League and St. John United Church of Christ in Genoa. Eleanor lived at St. Johns Elder Life Apartments where she enjoyed her friends and neighbors. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry Sandy Rock; daughter, Marsha Reinbolt; granddaughter, Nicole Reinbolt, great-granddaughter, Samantha Reinbolt and brother, Howard McFall. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert Rock and brother, Bernard McFall. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 am.
