Eleanor E. Miller, 95, of Port Clinton, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at the Riverview Senior Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on August 21, 1920 in Port Clinton to John C. and Susan C. (Long) Rahm. On June 14, 1942, in Port Clinton, she married Kermit B. Miller, and he preceded her in death on January 18, 1990. She managed the Carriage Square Apts. for 35 years, retiring at age 85. Eleanor was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton and the Mary and Martha Circle. She was a founding member of the Port Clinton Mother’s Club and the Port Clinton chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. Eleanor was a devoted wife and mother, she loved being a homemaker. Eleanor is survived by her sons: Mark (Linda) Miller of Huron, and Blair (Ellen) Miller of Gibsonburg; grandchildren: Kelly (Brian) Miller, Stacey Miller, Brian (Lindsey) Miller and Laurel (Rick) Mack; great grandchildren: Karah, Elijah, Isaac, Oliver, Maslynn, and one on the way. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, with visitation one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Rev. James Lehman will officiate. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions in memory of Eleanor may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton is assisting the family with arrangements.
