Eleanor M. Honsperger

Eleanor M. Honsperger, 90, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away Monday, December 31, 2012 at Elmwood Assisted Living in Fremont, OH. Eleanor was born on July 27, 1922 in Gypsum, OH, the daughter of John and Cora L. Tasch Coyle. On July 27, 1943 in Port Clinton, OH, she married Karl E. Honsperger and he preceded her in death on September 10, 1985. Eleanor graduated from Oakmont High School in Oakmont, PA. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. Survivors include: Son: Skip Ellen Honsperger of Fremont, OH; Sister: Mildred Yeomans of Banning, CA; Brothers: Jack Ramona Coyle of Danville, VA and Jim Renee Coyle of Port Clinton; several nieces and nephews. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister: Naomi Meachen. Visitation will be from 12-2PM, Friday, January 04, 2013 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. James Lehman, at 2:00PM, following visitation in the funeral home. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Eleanor may be given to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr., Suite B, Perrysburg, OH 43441, St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton, OH or to a charity of the donors choice.
