Eleanor Gillette

Eleanor J. Gillette, age 89, of Holland, Ohio died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born on March 6, 1928 in Whitehouse to Ross and Freida (Kurtz) Gill. Eleanor was employed by Toledo Hospital as a Nurse for over 25 years. She was a former member of Living Faith United Methodist Church and Providence Lutheran Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, arranging flowers and she was a member of the Monclova Garden Club for 50 years. She will be best remembered for her sense of humor and laughter. Eleanor is survived by her children, Michael (Diane) Williams, Donald (Linda) Williams and Timothy Williams; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sisters, Gladys Caulkins, Beverly (Mike) Edwards, Sharon (Robert)Geiger, Judy (Dick) Meinen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Freida; husbands, Donald Williams and Nathaniel Gillette and her sister, Jeanie McDole. Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Providence Lutheran Church, 8131 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 where her family will receive friends after 10:00 AM. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy may do so in Eleanor’s name to either Living Faith United Methodist Church or to Providence Lutheran Church.
