Elcelia M. Rublaitus

Elcelia M. (Calevro) Rublaitus, 71, of Perrysburg, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at her home. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on August 23, 1946 to Dominec and Mary V. (Myzk) Calevro. Elcelia married William R. Rublaitus on December 9, 1988 in Perrysburg. Together, they attended St. Jerome Catholic Church in Walbrige, OH. Elcelia owned and operated her own barber shop in the Flying J truck stop called Ellie’s. She loved mushroom picking, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, William; children, Robert (Jennifer) Austin, Toni Crane, Tara (Brad) Crace; step-children, Angela, Jennifer, Amy; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Roseann) Calevro; and nephews, Craig, Jason, and Dylan. Elcelia was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Calevro; and granddaughter, Emily. Friends will be received on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio (419-874-3133). A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Elcelia’s name may be made to support Nightingales Harvest, a local food bank for cancer patients.
