Elaine D Sahadi

Elaine D. Sahadi passed peacefully in the comfort of her family at Kingston Care of Sylvania. The daughter of Robert Ehrenfried and Eva Roe, was born April 18, 1927 in Toledo. She was a graduate of Libbey High School, where she formed lifetime friendships with her ten sorority sisters. She married Mitchell Sahadi in 1947 in Toledo. They were happily married for 55 years and in Mitchell’s later years she provided much loving care. She raised four children and was active with the Girl and Boy Scouts, as well as many volunteer activities at St. Agnes Parish. After raising her children, Elaine had a long business career which culminated as an Executive Secretary at Champion Spark Plug. She was a member of the Quarter Century Retiree Club and did much volunteer work at St Anne’s hospital. Elaine is survived by her children, Robert Sahadi (Diana), Susan Parr (James), and Carole Hinds. She was pre-deceased by her loving daughter, Natasha Sahadi. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and their spouses; Eric Sahadi (Alexa), Jamie Parr (Julie), Melissa Parr Surane (Mike), Nicholas Sahadi (Gillian), Lindsey Hinds, Matthew Sahadi (Valerie), Amanda Parr McElveen (Todd), Lauren Hinds (Beau), Danny Hinds (Madison), and Christina Sahadi. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; Michael and Madison Surane, Mia and Brielle Parr, John, Teddy and Luke Sahadi, Tyler and Parker McElveen, and Joseph Sahadi. She is also survived by her brother George Ehrenfried (Dorothy) and her brother-in- law, Ted Sahadi (Pat). The family would like to thank Kingston Memory Care for their kindness, compassion, and support of our mother. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, October 21 from 3-8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave (West of Corey Rd). Rosary will be recited at 7pm. Funeral services will begin Monday, October 22 with visitation at Christ the King Catholic Church 4100 Harvest Lane Toledo, Ohio 43623 from 9-10 am followed by funeral Mass at 10 am.
