Elaine L. Noward

Elaine L. Noward, age 88, of Maumee, Ohio, died on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born on July 12, 1927 in Wauseon, Ohio to Rudolph and Emma (Rohrs) Buchhop. Elaine enjoyed round dancing and square dancing. She liked to camp and take walks where she could enjoy the birds. Elaine was an avid fan of the UT Lady Rockets, Detroit Tigers, and the Buckeyes. Her greatest joy was found in her grandchildren, she helped raise them and care for them. Not to be overlooked, her love and care extended well beyond the family to all the children she cared for. Elaine is survived by her children, Debra (Bill) Weinheimer; James (Marcia); John (Deborah); David (Karen); Robin (Bruce) Maxwell; grandchildren, Michelle, Brent, Lauren, Meghan, Nicole, Adam, Michael and Kyle; great grandchildren, Elle, Jadon, Rome, Brady, Tyler and Cameron; sisters, Margaret and Mary and brother, John. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leroy Joseph Noward. Friends and family will be received at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 112 E. Wayne Street, Maumee, Ohio on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 9:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Wakeman Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio.
