Elaine M. Overmyer Lauman

Elaine Miriam Overmyer Lauman, age 90, of Toledo formerly of Holland, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born on September 15, 1928 in Oregon, OH to Irvin and Margaret (Lehane) Blakeman. Elaine was a cook at Springfield and Anthony Wayne Schools. She sold Avon and House of Lloyd for many years. Elaine loved crafts, cards, baking and being around people, especially spending time with her family and many friends. She was a member of Living Faith United Methodist Church. Elaine is survived by her children, Robert E. (Kathy Schroeder) Overmyer Jr, Jackie (Steve Poppe) Geer, Patty (Larry) Schimming; stepsons, Bill (Linda), Don (Bonnie), Ron (Marie) Lauman; grandchildren, Rachel Long, Tiffany Overmyer, Corey (Samantha) Geer, Barry Geer, Levi Manley, Samantha (Ryan) Gargas; great-grandchildren, Halie (Charles Williamson) Hoffman, Lilly Fenneken, Kyle Buchholz; great-great-grandson, Ryan Williamson and brother, Jack (Margie) Blakeman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert E. Overmyer, Melvin Lauman; brothers, George and Charles Blakeman; sisters, Edith Hinebaugh and Dorothy Hintz. Friends and Family will be received on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 3-8 P.M. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, Ohio. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Swan Creek Cemetery, Monclova, OH.
