Elaine Ann Hunt

Elaine Kokocinski Hunt, 76, of Waterville, Ohio, entered eternal life on October 1, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1946, in Toledo, to her late parents, Sage and Adeline (Polito) Hider. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Kokocinski, whom she married on May 7, 1966, until his passing in 1984. She married Charles Hunt in 2000 and were together until his passing in 2014.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Steve (Christie) Kokocinski, Cathy (Tom) Steinke; grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Wilson, Isabella Kokocinski, Elijah Kokocinski, Nicholas Steinke; great-grandchildren, Elaina Wilson and Liam Wilson; her siblings, Michael (Eileen) Hider, Madelyn (Frank) Gardner, Diane Hider; and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

After graduating from Woodward High School in 1964, Elaine worked at K-Mart and retired after 33 years. She then worked in the cafeteria as a cashier at Fallen Timbers Middle School in the Anthony Wayne School district for 9 years. Elaine loved spending time with her family, and she loved to dance and sing, including singing in her church choir.

Guests will be received for visitation at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E South Boundary St., Perrysburg, on Friday, October 6, 2023, from 5-8 p.m., with the recitation of the most holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Her funeral Mass is Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E Front St., Perrysburg, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
