Elaine S. Everitt passed away peacefully on November 16, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Richard and Dolores Barthold on April 12, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, she spent her younger years with her two sisters, and graduated from Whitmer High School in 1967. Elaine, also called “Honey” by her beloved husband of 49 years, loved to color in her adult coloring books, make cakes and sweet treats of many kinds, and loved homemade macaroni and cheese. Her other nicknames were “Grammy” and “Kid” and she always supported her family any way she could. Family meant everything to her, and she was the most forgiving, loving, and warm person. If you ever received a hug from Elaine, you would understand. She was a seven-year survivor or breast cancer and had the best sense of humor. Elaine was preceded by her parents, Richard and Dolores; sister Maryann, and great granddaughter Delilah. She will be missed by her husband, Clifford; sister, Virginia; children, Charles (Heather), Andrea, (Antwan); grandchildren, Josalynn (TJ), Chelsea, Clifford, Amir; and great grandchild, Zayden, and many other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, family, and friends. Friends will be received on Thursday, 11/18, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at the Walker Funeral Home Holland Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Hwy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, at 10am at the same location. Funeral arrangements were made by the Walker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to the family or the Breast Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen.
