Elaine Ruth Czlapinski

Elaine Ruth Czlapinski, age 89, released into heavenly peace on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, with the comfort of her family at her side at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on December 29, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to Kaiser Harry and Martha Lois Reiter Wojciechowski. Elaine enjoyed fishing, camping, baking, sewing and knitting. She was a wiz at word search. Elaine was a loving, caring person who found great joy in caring for others especially her family. She will be missed by family; children, Clem Darlene Pinski, Casimer Bob Marian Pinski, Suzanne James Stanfill, and David Czlapinski; grandchildren Carrie, Mark Carrie, Michael, Wendy, James Jr., Samantha Brian, Kim Floyd, Kenny, Todd, Tina, Michelle, Heather, April Tim, and Jenna; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren plus one on the way; sister, Carol Rink and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemens Sr., two sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren. Visitation will be at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, west of Corey Rd. on Friday from 2 to 8 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 am with the Funeral Mass being held at 10 am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3011 Carskaddon. Interment will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Solana Dementia Unit at Perrysburg Care and Rehabilitation Center, 28546 Starbright Blvd., Perrysburg, OH 43551 and Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551.
