Eileen Konieczny

Eileen P. Konieczny, 87, of Oak Harbor, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born on July 6, 1926 to Alfred and Laura Sievert Lowe. She was a member of the Oak Harbor High School Class of 1944 and was looking forward to celebrating their 70th reunion this year. On March 31, 1948 in Williston she married Melvin H. Konieczny and he preceded her in death on April 17, 2005. Eileen previously worked for the Save Electric Co. of Toledo, W.T. Grant at Great Eastern, and JC Pennys at the Woodville Mall. She was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church, Williston where she was a member of the Dorcas Circle. Eileen really enjoyed being a grandmother and great grandmother. Eileen is survived by her daughter: Connie Miles Fabian of Oak Harbor, granddaughter: Robin Turco of Oak Harbor, and 2 great grandchildren: Caleb and Meleen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother: Isadore Lowe. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Shawn OBrien at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, Williston with interment to follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions in memory of Eileen may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Williston or a charity of the donors choice.
