Eileen Virginia Bonfiglio (DeVaul), 84, a gentle woman with a kind smile, died on July 18, 2017. She was one of five children, born August 20, 1932, to Harry and Sophia DeVaul. Eileen thoroughly enjoyed sewing and shared many quilts with friends and family. She was extremely proud of winning Best of Show at the Sauder Village Annual Quilt show, and was a member of many of the area quilt guilds. In her spare time she also enjoyed watching the birds, Walker-Texas Ranger and spoiling her dog Casey. Her sewing extended into the professional realm. From seamstress doing alterations to making medical garments at Jobst Vascular Institute. She was also employed at Champion Spark plug where she met her husband, Art. She is survived by her husband, Arthur A. Bonfiglio; children, Michael H. Brady, Patricia A. Torkelson (Mike), and Sandra L. Brady-Fray (James); step children, Mark C. Bonfiglio (Laurie), Lisa M. Micka (Andy), and Eric G. Bonfiglio (Terri); brother, James K DeVaul (Rosann Marie); 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Steven P. Kampfer; and three siblings, Harry W. DeVaul, Mary K. Bortz, and John E. DeVaul. Visitation will be held Friday July 21, 2017 from 2pm- 8pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be Saturday 10:00am. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Northwest Church of Christ, 149 S. Fulton, Wauseon, Ohio 43567.
