Effie Viola Trafelet, age 75, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born on January 22, 1937 in Decatur, Indiana to Charles and Lena McGill Lautzenhizer. Effie was the owner of Colonial Hearth Bakery in Perrysburg and was also a sales associate in the drapery department at the Lions Store. She loved to bake, sew and play the piano. Effie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert W. Trafelet and siblings. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Scott Krueger, Brian Trafelet, Linda Rich Noonan, Mark Trafelet, and Cheryl Marc Hand; grandchildren, Jason Krueger, Michael Neika Epple Krueger, Richard Stephanie Noonan III, James Heather Morley Noonan, Timothy Brooke Noonan, Jennifer Luke Schindler, Julie Tony Roth Hand, Christina Zach Newman, Ashley Josh Wagner, Jessica Dan Russell, Stephanie Condon and Melissa Condon ; 9 great-grandchildren and siblings. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 29, 2012, from 2 to 8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30th at 10 am. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimers Association and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
