Edward William Weirich

Edward, Ed, Eddy William Weirich was born on November 30, 1944 and sadly passed away March 30, 2024. Ed was a graduate of Woodward High school and a 1994 retiree of AT&T. He started at Ohio Bell as a lineman and finished his career in the engineering department. He loved both jobs. He also loved to golf, traveling, and the many trips to the Ohio Amish Country to savor chicken dinners. Ed was a member of the Sylvania Moose and Toledo Telephone Pioneers. He was also proud to be a 7 year cancer survivor.

Ed is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Emily (Smith); sons, Todd (Deana) of Tennessee and Chad Weirich of S. Carolina; grandchildren, Tyler Weirich, Collin Weirich, and Lauren Weirich for whom he was so proud. Also sisters, Linda Lawson of Toledo and Sandy (Doug) Holan of N. Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Weirich and Betty Hall.
