Edward J. Thomas

Edward J. Thomas age 93 of Toledo passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 in his home. He was born May 2, 1923 in Toledo to Anthony and Joanna (Pietrzak) Tomaszewski. He worked in the accounting department of the Jeep Corporation for 46 years, retiring in 1988. Ed enjoyed couponing, fishing and gardening where he was famous for his tomatoes. Preceded in death by his wife Geraldine; daughter Peg Pollzzie; and granddaughter Erin Pollzzie he is survived by his daughter Jan (Greg) Gordon; and sister Rose Baker. Friends will be received at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Thursday after 2 PM where services will follow at 7 PM. Entombment will be private.
