Edward Wolf D. Spellis, Jr.

EDWARD D. “WOLF” SPELLIS, JR. Edward D. “Wolf” Spellis, Jr. of Swanton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Regency Hospital, Toledo. He was born on May 16, 1956 in Toledo to Edward and Edith (Nickell) Spellis, Sr. Wolf attended Springfield High School and went on to work driving truck for Stone Co. and Tri County Block. He was a country music fan and enjoyed camping as well as motorcycles. Wolf was always willing to lend a hand and help other in need. Edward is survived by his son, Edward T. Spellis; siblings, Jim (Nancy) Spellis, Tom (Sue) Spellis, John Spellis and Mary (Dan) Arend; 12 nieces and nephews; special friend, Brenda Reed and family, especially Morgan and Jazalynn and his trucker buddy, Jamie. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Patrick. Friends will be received on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879). A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be privately held at Springfield Township Cemetery.
