Edward John Romaker

Edward John Romaker, age 95, of Maumee, Ohio passed away at his home on Thursday, November 14, 2019. He was born on January 9, 1924 to Edward and Cecilla (Drummer) Romaker in Custar, Ohio. Ed served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He then worked at LOF as Director of Property Protection for over 29 years. Ed enjoyed fishing, bowling and walking with friends. Ed is survived by his children, William (Vickie) Romaker, John (Jeni) Romaker and Linda (Bob) Rocco; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Jean) Romaker; sister-in-law, Lois Romaker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 75 years, Stefania; and brother, Robert Romaker. Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio.  Prayers will begin at 10:00 am in the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 with the funeral mass to follow at 10:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
