Edward J Polansky, Sr.

Edward J. “Joe” Polansky Sr., age 50 of Holland, Ohio died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Ebeid Hospice. He was born in Morgantown, West Virginia on March 6, 1964 to Robert and Dorothy (Titchnell) Polansky Sr. and on February 2, 1983 in Toledo, he married Martha J. Wolf. Joe worked in Maintenance for 22 years with United Collection Agency and he was a self-employed Carpenter. Joe loved spending time with his grandson and will best be remembered as a hard worker who would give the shirt off of his back to help others. He loved NASCAR and attending car shows with his 1978 F150 Ford truck. He is survived by his wife, Martha J. Polansky; sons, Edward J. “Joey” (Jewell) Polansky Jr. and Jordan N. Bickar-Polansky; grandson, Edward J. Polansky III; brothers, Robert (Angel) and Michael (Rachelle) Polansky, Roger (Kim), Robert (Yvonne) and George Bickar as well as his sister, Rochelle Sarha. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy. Friends will be received on Friday from 3-9 P.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 10 A.M. Burial will follow in Springfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Joe’s name to his family.
