Edward Andrew Hickerson, Jr.

Edward Andrew Hickerson, Jr. was born on July 26, 1943 in Pasequla, Mississippi. He passed away on March 20, 2021 at age 77, at home peacefully while under Ohio Living Hospice care surrounded by his family. Edward married the love of his life, Connie Jo Betty Hickerson (Nearhood) on June 18, 1965. Having been together almost 56 years. He retired from City Auto Stamping in 1988 after 22 years driving forklifts. Edward is survived by his wife, Connie Jo Betty Hickerson (Nearhood),; daughter, Mary J. Meyers (Richard); Grandsons, Bradly Eisenmann (Chelsea Guadarrama) and Joshua Eisenmann (Morgan Thayer); his half-brother, Lawrence Burns (Dottie) of Florida; sister-in-law, Carolyn Hickerson of Tennessee; and brother, Doug Hickerson (Barb). He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Andrew Hickerson, Sr. and Lela Marie Hickerson (McNabb) and step-brother, Larry Wayne Hickerson. Edward’s family will receive friends on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 2PM until the time of service at 7PM at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania Ave. Toledo, OH 43623).
