Edward N. Hejnal

Edward N. Hejnal, 71, of Marblehead, OH passed away late Friday, December 11, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born on July 9, 1938 in Garfield Heights, OH to Edward A. and Mildred Brown Hejnal. On May 12, 1962, in Holy Trinity Church, Avon, OH, he married Mary Ann Linden. Edward served in the U.S. Marines from 1957-61. Edward retired after 30 years with National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA. He was a member of St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, OH. During his retirement he enjoyed boating and fishing and travel. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Family includes, loving wife of 47 years, Mary Ann Hejnal of Marblehead, OH, sons, Kevin Mary Hejnal of Avon, OH, Kurt Hejnal Kevin Compton of Greenville, SC, granddaughters, Kristen and Kara Hejnal, brothers, Alan Bonnie Hejnal of Avon, OH and Russell Hejnal of Baltic, OH. Edward was preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM by Father Gonser, Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at St. Julie Billiart Catholic Church, 5500 Lear Nagle Road, North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
