Edward Greene

Edward Greene, 74, of Boca Raton, FL, and formerly of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born on January 21, 1935 in Cleveland, OH, the son of Edward J. and Clara Waszewski Greene. Ed was the previous owner of Greenes Marina, Port Clinton, OH and was an active pilot. Ed will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Sons: Robert Greene of Catawba Island, OH and Edward Greene of Lyons, OH; Daughters: Angie Greene of Barrow, AK and Sherrie Hartkey of Texas. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. A Graveside service will be conducted by Reverend James Lehman, at 1:30PM, Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Edward to the Catawba Island Vol. Fire Dept. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
