Edward C. Depner

Edward C. Depner, 63, of Oak Harbor, passed away December 24, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born January 1, 1960 in Port Clinton to Elmer Leon and Francis Elizabeth (Dunkleman) Depner. Ed attended Oak Harbor High School. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Oak Harbor and always appreciated the love and support the congregation had for his family. Eddie was a dishwasher at the Oak Harbor Hotel and Kozy Corners Family Restaurant in Oak Harbor for nearly 30 years before retiring. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Edward is survived by sisters, Annette and Karen Eileen Depner, niece Stephanie Burton and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon Depner and sister Carol Ann.

Graveside services will be conducted by Pastor Darryl Hamm on Tuesday, January 16 at 10:00AM at Salem Twp. Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Edward can be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor or in care of the funeral home to help with expenses. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH is assisting with arrangements.
