Edward Carrisalez, age 63, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 9, 2011 in St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. He was born October 21, 1947, in McAllen, Texas, the son of Jesus R. and Consuelo Zamudio Carrisales Sr. Ed was retired from Delphi New Departure of Sandusky, Ohio and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Port Clinton Elks Lodge. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and music but his family was most important to him. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Surviving are his loving wife, Margaret Knerr, whom he married July 31, 1993; daughter, Jennifer Shultz of Sandusky; grandchildren, Kennadi and Kaleb; brother, Gilbert of Port Clinton; sisters, Maria Jim Stiger, Rosie John Goodman and Gloria Shawn Gardner all of Oak Harbor, and Alicia Jim Rickard, and Lisa Scott Murphy, both of Port Clinton; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Tommy and Jesse Jr. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8PM, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home, Port Clinton, OH. Funeral Services will be at 11AM, Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Christy Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Eddie may be given to Ottawa County Humane Society.
