Edward G. Cable

Edward Cable, of Swanton, OH passed away peacefully at his home on his 75th birthday, March 8, 2024. Ed retired in 2014 from Schindler Elevator as a mechanical engineer after 43 years of service. Ed enjoyed camping, bowling, tending to his yard and most of all spending time with family and friends. Edward was always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile on his face.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, George and Anita; wife, Vickie; son, Josh; and granddaughter, Ashley. He is survived by his children, Nancy (Scott) and Krista (Rich); grandchildren, April (Norman †), Brittany (Bobby), RJ (Brittany); 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; siblings, Tom (Teena), Maryanne (Mick) and Rita.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm in Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537 (419-893-7686). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Heartland Hospice.
