Edward J. Bollinger, Jr.

Bollinger Edward J., Jr. Edward J. Bollinger, Jr. My Big Catch passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 14, 2008. Ed was born in Toledo to Edward, Sr. and Donna Burditt Bollinger. A 1986 graduate of Bowsher High School, Ed married the love of his life, Chris Pieper Bollinger in 1989. They had three wonderful children together, Edward, III age 18, Ian 11, and Heather 10. Ed loved hunting, fishing, and playing poker, but most of all he loved spending time with his wife and children. If you ever got lost all you had to do was call Ed, the walking map because of his great sense of direction. Some saw him as a grizzly bear but those who truly knew him saw him as a teddy bear. Ed is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Edward, III, Ian, and Heather Bollinger; brother, Paul Bollinger; sister, Angelique Bollinger, nephews, Brett Gleason, and Zack and Ethan Bollinger; nieces, Brittany Bollinger, and Alex and Hunter Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Monday and Tuesday from 2-9:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. where a memorial services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am.
