Edward Alan Bachman, age 72, of Waterville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 23, 1942 to Lawrence Edward and Charlotte Mae (Chittum) Bachman. Ed worked as a professional printer in the Toledo area, having started at the ground floor and working his way into regional sales. He was proud of his work and associations with Graphic Arts, Howson-Algraphy and Polychrome. Ed met Sandee, the love of his life, at the age of twelve. They have been together ever since and recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. Ed was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He liked to camp and explore the road, either in the RV or on his motorcycle. Ed also enjoyed a good round of golf and spending time with the family on their boat. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandee; son, Lawrence (JoAnn); daughters, Kindl Bachman (Ann) and Marnie Bachman (Jean); grandsons, E.J. and Evan; granddaughters, Jordyn and Rylee. Also surviving are his sister, Sharon Grandfield and mother-in-law, Joanne Emnett; and many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents. Friends and family are invited to gather at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee, on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 3:00 PM for a Louisiana-style funeral procession. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fallen Timbers Fairways Club House, 7711 Timbers Blvd. Waterville, OH 43566 immediately following the committal service.
