Eduardo "Eddie" Shea

Eduardo “Eddie” Shea, 54, of Williston, Ohio, passed away on September 10, 2025, in the care of Luther Home of Mercy.

He was born on February 18, 1971, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Eduardo and Thelma (de la Rosa) Shea. A proud high school graduate, Eddie enjoyed his work at Northwest Day Program and later at RVI Perrysburg, where he found purpose and joy in his daily activities.

Thursdays were made special by a trip to Burger King after work, where he happily ordered his favorite Whopper meal. He also had a sweet tooth for chocolates of nearly every kind. His presence, warmth, and unique sense of joy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandmother, Remedios Velasco Shea; sister, Marilou Guy; and brother-in-law, Brian Dehm.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Veronica (Mike) Papio, Editha Dehm, Bernadette (Andrew) Beal, and Kathleen (Ton) Le; brother-in-law, Kirk Guy; nieces and nephews, Charles (Alley) Guy, Robert (Annie) Guy, Alex Guy, Joseph Papio, Anthony (Jillian) Papio, Angelina (Matt) Cerone, Daniel (Molly) Papio, Giovanni Papio, Dustin Dehm, Jason Dehm, Zachary (Joshua) Dehm, Anya (Robert) Miller, Margaux Guy, Kaitlyn Le, Lily Le, and Thomas Le; along with 11 beloved great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Luther Home of Mercy, 5810 N. Main Street, Williston, Ohio 43468. A funeral ceremony will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.
