Edson A. Ely

Ely Edson A. Bud Edson A. Bud Ely, III passed away Monday, November 9, 2009 at his home in Toledo. Bud was born October 26, 1942 to Edson, Jr. and Alberta Jenkins. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War in Thailand as an equipment operator. Bud was a welder and a heavy equipment operator by trade and was a member of VFW Post 606. Surviving are his sisters, Mildred Wagonfeld and Sondra Ely; brother, William Linda Ely; nieces and nephews and best friend of 35 years, Susan Ellenburg. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlotte E. Ely; and Brother, Earl Jenkins. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-5:00pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. with services following at 5:00pm.
