Edna Mae Sager

Edna Mae Sager, age 96, of Holland, Ohio, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Edna was born January 9, 1914 to Carl and Maude Limpf in Kearny, Missouri. She moved to Ohio as an infant. She resided many years on the eastside of Toledo with her loving husband of 69 years, Joseph M. Sager. Nine years ago she moved into the condos at Creek-side where she enjoyed meeting new friends and playing euchre and pinochle. Edna had an especially close relationship with her daughter and special son-in-law, Dick and granddaughter, Tracey. She was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sager; son, James Sager; parents, Carl and Maude Limpf; and brothers, Denslow, Ronald, William and Gene Limpf. She is survived by her loving daughter, Janet Richard Kirkman of Maumee; daughter-in-law, Patricia Sager of Sylvania; grandchildren, Jim Jane Kirkman, Tom Kirkman, Bob Andrea Kirkman, Tracey Greg Miller, Andrew Sager, Alex Cathy Sager, Anne Marie Tim Underwood and Paul Sager; 16 great-grandchildren another great grandchild due soon; 3 step-great grandchildren; 1 foster great-grandchild and 3 step-great great grandchildren. Family and friends may visit Monday, February 22, 2010 from 3-8 pm in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
