Edna Lee Pitts

PITTS Edna Lee Edna Lee Pitts, age 87, of Sylvania, OH and formerly of Bradenton, FL, passed away Friday morning, July 15, 2011 at Kingston Care Center, Sylvania. Edna was born October 10, 1923 in Valdosta, GA to the late Edgar Lee and Betty Constance Roach Pitts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keefee Louis Pitts; and a daughter, Carol Lyn Wetherbee. Edna retired in 1989 from Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, after more than 25 years as a registered nurse. She was a long-time member of West Bradenton Baptist Church and an avid fan of Florida Gator athletics. Surviving are her sons, Michael and Kenneth, Bradenton, FL; daughter, Constance Denham, Sylvania, OH; grandchildren, Whitney, Kendra, Jonathan, Allison and Jeremy; and her brother, Lee Pruette, of Quincey, FL. Services will be held privately and Edna will be laid to rest at Fogertyville Cemetery, Bradenton, FL. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
