Edna Mae Clark

Edna Mae Clark, 81, passed away July 27, 2014 surrounded by family and friends peacefully and with a lot of love at The Hospice of Northwest Ohio after a lengthy illness. Mae was born October 14, 1932 to Herma (Webb) and Jerry Cumbo. On October 25, 1949 she married the love of her life Jerrell Lee Clark who preceded her in death August 11, 2011. They were married for 61 years. They have three children, Joann (Paul) Swinkey, Connie (Jock) Denny and Jerry. Mae was a homemaker and was known as Mamaw to a large group of friends and extended family. Mae’s door was always open for her to shower her love on them. She always thought of everyone before herself. She will be missed by her sisters, Juanita Cox of Ashland, KY and Linda Woodworth of Rossford, OH. Also, her extended family, Ron (Brenda) Fussell, Gary (Jill) Fussell, Sherrie, Warren, Jamee and J.T. Kirwen, Paula P. and Bill Gallagher, Rick and Freeman Woodworth; Grandchildren, Timothy Jones, John (Kelly) Reinbolt, Kaleigh (Ryan) Croswell, Cole and Grant Denny; Great-grandson, Timothy Jones and two beautiful great-granddaughters, Raeleigh Mae Jones and Emily Mae Reinbolt. Along with her husband, Jerry, Mae was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jean Barker. Friends will be received Friday, August 1, 2014 from 5-9 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge (419-666-3121) where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Terry Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. A special thank you to all the remarkable staff at Promedica Bay Park Hospital and The Pulmonary and Critical Care specialists, Dr. Karl Fernandes and Dr. Dean Bernardo; who took such excellent care of her throughout the years. Also, we would like to thank the office of Dr. Robert A. Schmidt and Dr. Irshad Hasan and a very grateful thank you to the entire staff of Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
