Edna J. Brandt

Edna J. Brandt, 83, of Williston, Ohio, died Monday, November 10, 2014, in the Genoa Retirement Village, Genoa, Ohio. Edna was born in Herrin, Illinois, on October 6, 1931. On February 17, 1951, in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo, Ohio, she married Theron Dale Brandt. T. Dale preceded her in death on September 3, 2014. Edna worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She had been a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church since 1951. Edna was active in the Eastern Stars and was an active member of Perrysburg Chapter #446. She held the offices of Worthy Matron in 1978, Grand Representative Pa. 1989, and Chaplain for many years and Treasurer of the Perrysburg Chapter. She was also a member of the Dedarah Court No. 11,Omas Unit, and the Ottawa County Shrine. Edna is survived by a sister, Barbara Czubek of Marlton, NJ, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Dale R. Brandt, and daughter-in-law, Sandy Brandt. Visitation for Edna will be from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, 501 West St., Genoa. An Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2014, in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa.
