Edna L. Aberl

Edna L. Aberl, 98, of Martin, Ohio, died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at her residence. She was born November 7, 1911, in Martin, to Charles and Louise Helle Schmoldt. On June 24, 1950, she married Robert Aberl and he preceded her in death in 1996. Edna had worked as a homemaker and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Martin. She enjoyed flowers and planting flowers and trees. She also really liked animals, especially dogs. Edna is survived by nieces and nephews and friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Clarence and John Schmoldt, and sister, Mable Decant. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2010, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, Ohio, with visitation 2 hours prior to the services from 11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Monty Kaufman will officiate. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Martin, OH or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
