Edmund G Szymanski

Edmund G. Szymanski age 85 of Maumee passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Concord Care Center. He was born February 22, 1928 in Toledo to Edmund and Helen Szymanski. Ed attended St. Adalbert grade school and graduated from Central Catholic High School and the University of Toledo. He was a builder/contractor and owned his own business. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing at Merickel-Farley Trout Club, spending his springs at Ft. Myers Beach and travelling all over the world with his wife. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia who died March 25, 2007; and son Edmund Szymanski. Surviving are his children Sandy Peter Hall, Patty LaPlant, John Kim Szymanski, Linda Bob Ignasiak and Carrie Chris Wilks; 14 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
