Edmund J. Kowalski

Edmund J. Kowalski, 87, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton. He was born on June 07, 1927 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of John and Hedwig (Marek) Kowalski. Edmund worked as a fork lift operator for the U.S. Gypsum Co. for 37 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Edmund was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion Post #113. Edmund will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Many loving nieces and nephews. Edmund was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Millard and Henry Kowalski: sisters: Casmera Kowalski and Jeannette Gresh. Visitation will be 9-10:30AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, where prayers will be held at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father John Missler at 11:00AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, with a military graveside service. Memorial donations in memory of Edmund may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
