Edith Bondy

Edith M. Haffelder Bondy, age 90, passed away suddenly Monday September 17, 2012. Penny was a former member of the Toledo Rose Society and also enjoyed growing and selling African Violets from her home for many years. Penny loved animals, especially her cats. She was an avid golfer with her girlfriends and loved camping with family and friends. She was a former member of St. Marys Catholic Church where she married her loving husband of 54 years, Cal. Penny was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cal Bondy. She is survived by son, John Susan Riley Bondy; grandchildren, Jennifer James Jones and Matthew Bondy; great-grandchildren, Kailee, Brock, and Mackenzie. Also surviving are brother-in-law, Eugene Elsae Bondy, and niece, Nancy Don Clifford. Special thanks to Amy and Tiffany at Odyssey Hospice and Tom and the staff at the Waterford Levis Commons for their wonderful care. Memorial services will be private with the Walker Funeral Home, 419.841.2422, assisting with arrangements.
