Clarence Edward, Ed Mincer, 57, passed peacefully on June 1, 2017, at Toledo Hospital, after a brief illness. Ed was born on October 8, 1959, in Fremont, Ohio, to Charles William and Violet (Dale) Mincer. Ed was passionate about working on cars, as a profession and hobby; he worked for 10 years at Advantage Ford of Fremont as well as Tri Motors of Oak Harbor and Port Clinton. In his free time he enjoyed buying cars and restoring them for their next owner; and when he wasnt around vehicles, he loved to shoot a game of pool. Ed is survived by his sons, Craig Edward (Ashlee) Mincer and Kenneth William Mincer, grandchildren, Lily, Landon and Elaina Mincer, mother, Violet, brothers, Charles Kelly Mincer and Benjamin Douglas Mincer and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2017, at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, where funeral services will also be conducted on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Clyde, OH.
