Earnest White

Earnest Eugene White, of Walbridge, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 11, 2023, surrounded by family. He was born to Earnest and Betty (Roberts) White on May 10, 1951, in Sistersville, WV. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. His smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Ernie treasured spending time at Sunny’s Campground with his family and friends and never turned down an opportunity to play poker. Ernie was known for being just a phone call away. Whether you needed help with home improvement projects, car repairs, or lost and needed directions, you could count on him.

Ernie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Irene “Penny” White. Children; April (Chris) George, Chad (Dawn) White. Grandchildren; Tony, Nick, Sarah, Courtney and Chase. Great Grandchildren; Skylar “Scooter”, Liam, Landon, Faith and Daxton. He is also survived by his sisters Darlene Akeman and Felicia (John) Windnagel. He was preceded in death by his parents Earnest and Betty White. Daughter; Dawn Marie White. Sisters; Betty Lynn “Penny” White, Marilyn Clevinger and Bonnie Robbins.

Ernie’s family will host a funeral service at Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home located at 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio 43460 on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 with a service to follow. Please join the family to share stories and celebrate Ernie’s life.
