Earl E. Dunfee

Earl E. Dunfee, 80, of Milan, OH, passed away, Monday, February 23, 2015 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, Port Clinton, OH. He was born February 01, 1935 in Fremont, OH, the son of Ray and Maggie (Hedges) Dunfee. Earl retired from New Departure Hyatt in Sandusky after 36 years of employment. He was a member of the Sandusky American Legion Post #83. Earl’s hobbies were gardening, auto repair and body work. He was an avid Elvis fan. Earl’s greatest loves were his children, grandchildren and helping others. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed by his family. Survivors include: Son: James (Gerri) Dunfee of Sandusky: Daughter: Cheryl (Tom) Wieber of Port Clinton; Grandchildren: Angela Watts, Brandon Wieber, Laura Kirchner, Derek Wieber; 4 Great-Grandchildren; Brothers: Claude: “Toby” (Rose) Dunfee and Richard (Linda) Dunfee. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Raymond Kenneth, sisters: Leona (Oney) Stout, Margie Ross, Marie Walls, Gilburta Smith, Martha Noftz and Carol Ann Dunfee, grandson: Bryan Dunfee and his companion of 25 years: Virginia (GiGi) Wallace. There will be no visitation or services. Upon Earl’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the care of Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
