Dwight G. Shufeldt

Dwight Guy Shufeldt, 91, of Perrysburg passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Dwight was born December 15, 1930 in Perrysburg, Ohio to Guy and Laura (Limmer) Shufeldt. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. He married Barbara Agler on June 15, 1975 and they shared 46 years together until she passed on April 24, 2014.

Dwight worked as a supervisor for Johns Manville for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and cards. Dwight was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. He liked listening and dancing to Big Band music. Dwight will be remembered for being a jokester; always playing pranks on his friends and family.

He is survived by his daughters, Dana Grellner and Lynette van Dijk and son, Terry Shufeldt; step-children, Steve (Pam) Agler, Mike (Marianne) Agler and Diane (Rodney) Smith; grandchildren, Leah, Taylor, Rachel, Jared, Lauren, Jacob, Brandonn, Steve, Brad, Mike, Amanda and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Justin, Jaxson, Mackenzie, Ashlee, Paisley, Layla, Oliver and Taylore; siblings, Rosalie Moser, Fritz Shufeldt, Lorna (Hezron Hightower) Shufeldt and Tina (John) Young and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Along with his wife, Barbara, he was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Hank.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E.
