Duane M. Weltlin, Jr.

Duane Maxson Weltlin, Jr., 46, of Swanton, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 25, 2023 at Embassy of Swanton Nursing Home. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on March 23, 1977 to Duane M. and Donna J. (McCleary) Weltlin, Sr.

Duane was a very gifted and talented mechanic who loved working on Chevy cars. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Duane was kind and an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

Duane is survived by his children, Alicia Weltlin, Brittney (Timothy) Bailey, Duane Weltlin III, Faith Weltlin, and Elizabeth Weltlin; grandchildren, Brayden, Evelyn and Cass; mother, Donna Pitzen; siblings, Valorie (Randy), David (Melissa), Jason, Shannon and Troy. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Weltlin, Sr.; and brother, Christopher.

Friends will be received at Walker Funeral Home-Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm.
