Duane J. Skrzyniecki, Esq.

Duane John Skrzyniecki, 79, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away March 3, 2025.

He was born in Toledo, OH, to Joseph and Helen Skrzyniecki.

A graduate of Central Catholic High School, he received a BA Degree from the University of Toledo and a Juris Doctorate from UT’s College of Law. He was a Lucas County assistant prosecutor for 30 years in the Juvenile and Child Support divisions.

Duane was married to Linda (Woodward) Skrzyniecki for 52 years. They traveled extensively in the United States and enjoyed trips to many European countries including Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; brother, Randal Skrzyniecki and Randal’s children, Bryan (Julie); goddaughter, Carrie and Kevin (Erin) Skrzyniecki. Also surviving are nephew, Patrick Skrzyniecki; niece, Julene Skrzyniecki; nephew, Barry Dockery; great niece, Amber (Alex) Hennessy; great nephew, Brandon Dockery; lifelong friends, Carl and Laraine Brywczynski and their children Meredith (Gary) Reinhart and godson Brandon (Elissa) Brywczynski; great nieces and nephews.

Duane was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Kenneth (Sharron), Alan and Jeffrey Skrzyniecki, sister-in-law, Sharon Skrzyniecki and great niece, and goddaughter Crystal Dockery.
