Duane L Haas

Duane L. Haas age 63 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was born in Bowling Green, OH on April 16, 1954 to Dale and Betty (Roach) Haas. Duane was employed at Bowling Green State University in the Horticulture/Grounds Dept. Duane was a past volunteer fireman for the City of Perrysburg; former youth baseball coach and past member of the Jaycees. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader at Zoar Lutheran Church in Perrysburg. Duane was an avid BGSU Hockey and Detroit Tigers fan and enjoyed working part-time at Luckey KOA campground in retirement. Surviving are his sons, Tyler (Kelly) Haas, Hunter (fiancé-Cassie) Haas; granddaughter, Emma; former wife, Paula A. (Schramm) Haas; father, Dale Haas; brothers, David (Dorothy) and Doug (Karen) Haas; and many nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence and his mother, Betty. A memorial service for Duane will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Ave, Perrysburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Perrysburg Senior Center, Perrysburg Fire and Rescue or the American Cancer Society.
