Douglas Lee Willhardt

Douglas Lee Willhardt, affectionately known as “Bean”, born September 28, 1968 in Toledo, OH passed away August 16, 2016. Doug is predeceased by his father and mother, Edward Eugene and Norma Jean Willhardt. He is survived by his brother, Tom Willhardt; sister-in-law, Pam Willhardt; and sisters, Patti Willhardt and Jodi Willhardt. Douglas was also loved by his nieces, Amanda and Cailey Willhardt and nephews, David and Bryan and Schmidt. He attended college at Bowling Green State University and moved to Florida from Ohio when he was 22 years old. Bean was an awesome golfer, a Tigers fan, he loved to dance, and enjoyed the beach. He knew 3 jokes and told them as often as possible with passion and flare each and every time. He brought joy into everyone’s life he knew through his warm smile, funny hats or dance moves. He would do anything for anybody…..a very special person. When God gives a gift it always comes wrapped as a person. He was a gift to so many people. We love him so much and he will be missed by many. We will have a “Share your favorite stories of Bean” on Saturday, September 10th at 4:00pm at the Village Inn, 4984 N.
