Douglas Schoenfelt

Douglas H. Schoenfelt, 57, of Maumee, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at his home. Douglas was born February 20, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio to Herbert and Phyllis (Finks) Schoenfelt.

Doug worked for Spartan Chemical for 15 years and was a ticket taker for the Toledo Mud Hens. He was an avid Detroit Red Wings, Tigers, Toledo Walleye and Mud Hens fan. He was a member of the Maumee Elks and Eagles club. Doug loved Maumee sports as well, you could always find him in the stadium or bleachers at any Maumee basketball, baseball, or football game. He never met a stranger and will be remembered for his easy-going personality.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis; brother, Daniel (LeAnn) Schoenfelt; niece, Emily (Drew) Palermo and great-nephew, Brady Palermo. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee (419-893-7686). Burial will be private.
