Douglas Daniel Peters

Douglas Daniel Peter, 76, of Perrysburg, passed away April 17, 2025 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Doug was born February 24, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to Glenn and Verna (Szyskowski) Peters.

Doug worked as a high-end paper hanger and painter. He loved to tinker and could fix anything. Doug was best known as “Pops” and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter; Cindi Britt; grandchildren, Robinson Britt and Kristine (Travis) Gieman; great-grandchildren, Jackson Britt and Marlow Gieman and siblings, Mary Schultz and Mike (Cheryl) Zieman. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Richard, Gloria and Helen.

Services for Doug will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Doug’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Toledo Zoo. Condolences may be made online to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
